Smoke leak tester for vehicles is a device used to detect smoke leaks in the exhaust and emission systems of vehicles. This device is specially produced to find leaks and leaks on the vehicle.
What does a smoke leak tester do?
1. Blowing Smoke: The smoke leak tester blows smoke into the vehicle's pipes. During this process, the inside of the pipe you want to check for leakage is filled with smoke and you can view where the leaking smoke comes from.
2. Leak Detection: After the smoke is blown into the exhaust system, the tester monitors the smoke to escape from the leakage points and detects leaks in the exhaust system or emission control systems. If these leaks are not eliminated, the vehicle will constantly malfunction. Most of the malfunctions that appear permanently in the vehicle brain are caused by such leaks.
3. Fast Repair and Maintenance: Services that do not have a smoke leak test device spend a lot of effort and time to find leaks in the vehicle EVAP system and fuel system. EVAP is one of the most experienced craftsmen in your repair shop to fix gas leaks, fuel pipe, intake system and fuel tank malfunctions. If the leaks on the vehicle are controlled, less harmful gases will be released into the environment.
4. Emission Tests: The smoke leak tester can be used before or as part of vehicles being subjected to emissions testing. This is important to ensure that vehicles emit fewer emissions into the environment. It is easier for us to detect smoke leakage problems in customer vehicles with a smoke leakage device.
5. Error Codes: Even though Vehicle Testing devices read all the faults in OBD2 systems, they do not tell which pipe the leak will be in. Apart from reading the error code, the pipe must be professionally tested externally with the EVAP Leak product.
Smoke leak testers are one of the important tools used in vehicle maintenance and repairs. These devices are used to control the emissions of vehicles, increase fuel efficiency and ensure that less harmful gases are released into the environment.
